Has your printer cartridge run out? Buying new is not the only option .... :)

At La Tienda de Cartuchos we offer 3 different ways to renew your printer cartridges

1. REFILL
Refilling your cartridge is certainly the most environmentally friendly option. Just one used cartridge takes hundreds of years to decompose. A refilled cartridge is on average half the price of a compatible and often two thirds cheaper than buying new. We can refill colour and black. We refill most brands including HP, Canon, Lexmark and Brother. We cannot refill Epson unfortunately or toners.
Refill prices start at around 5 euros for the smaller black cartridges ....

A recent BBC Watchdog programme showed that on average refilled cartridges performed just as well as new or compatible cartridges, saving the consumer money and helping the environment.

If you bring your used cartridge to the shop we can normally refill it on the spot. If we are busy we can normally refill within the hour. Sometimes we recommend a full clean on a cartridge and suggset collecting later in the day or the next day.
If the cartridge is in poor condition we would not recommend refilling as it will not work. This might include a cartridge where the print head is not functioning properly or the circuit is damaged.

2. COMPATIBLE
If we cannot refill your cartridge we would suggest buying a compatible. This is like a non branded cartridge, identical to an original but cheaper. In our experience compatibles tend to work just as well as original cartridges. Occassionally though and with some brands we find we cannot refill a compataible. We currently have a wide range of Brother, Lexmark, HP, Canon and Epson compatibles in stock ....

3. ORIGINALS
Some customers prefer to buy original cartridges. These tend to be slightly more expensive than compatibles. We stock a large range of both compatible and original cartridges for all the main brands.

If we don´t have your cartridge in stock and cannot refill it, we can order you a new cartridge to arrive within 48 - 72 hours. If you want to check before coming to the shop please give us a call, we would be delighted to help you and can take orders over the phone.

Toners
We also stock toners for most laser printers and can order more within 48 - 72 hours. We can deliver large toner orders locally and will provide a discount on large orders.
