Following the closure of The Finland Times the journalists and other staff of the online English language daily have decided after threadbare discussions to go for a new, cutting edge, interactive, free of influence and, at the same time, more entertaining and diversified.

The trial version of new daily – Daily Finland (www.dailyfinland.fi) is now running its trial version. You can have a sneak peek, comment, suggest improvements, share your ideas there at www.dailyfinland.fi and we also hope to see you there regularly when it launches formally in March 2017.

The paper we have launched will be considered a global window of Finland, where the majesty of “White nights” and “Dark days” enthrall people in the other parts of the planet.

It will try to accommodate information on heritage, history, society, culture, politics and polity, life, business, lifestyle and so on that directly or indirectly linked to more than 5.2 million people living presently in the Nordic country and the generations to come.
